the shot-proof breast plate with raised medial ridge and shallow flared skirt, turned neck and arm apertures, the former stamped just below with the mark of the London Armourers and the maker's mark IN, main shot proof indentation, further pistol ball indentation, mounting holes and patched repair, together with its companion back plate with turned edges and flared skirt, also struck with the helmeted A mark of the London Armourer's Company, perforations and large hole.
