A LATE 16TH CENTURY GERMAN BLACK AND WHITE BREAST PLATE AND TASSET ENSEMBLE
comprising breastplate with shallow raised medial ridge drawn down to the flare skirt, turned neck and arm apertures, broad polished section to the ridge and two angled out from the skirt, the remainder with original blacked finish, together with its matching pair of tassets composed of five simulated lames with turned edges and decorated to match.
