A 19TH CENTURY SUDANESE BEJA DAGGER CIRCA 1880

23cm double sided curved blade, dark brown carved hardwood X shaped silver wire bound hilt, contained in its tooled brown leather scabbard with silver coloured mounts, together with a good quality Sudanese arm dagger, 24cm double edged blade, dark hardwood grip with decorative silver strip and silver wire binding, contained in its tooled brown leather and snakeskin scabbard. Both found by Lt. Colonel F.M. Hext after the Battle of Tamai. (2)
