A 19TH CENTURY RAJASTHAN INDIAN TULWAR OR SWORD

79.5cm curved wootz damascus blade, characteristic hilt with elongated langets, disc terminals to the quillons, large dished disc pommel with starburst top, domed terminal with short spike finial, pierced and fitted with a white metal knotted vine lanyard loop, the whole retaining all of its silvered finish depicting scrolling vines and flowerheads within geometric borders, contained in its white metal mounted coloured cloth wrapped wooden scabbard.
