A 19TH CENTURY INDIAN SWORD OR TULWAR FOR A CHILD

54.5cm sharply curved wootz damascus blade decorated with silver damascene at the forte and along the base of the spine, characteristic hilt, the crossguard with spatulate terminals, scroll knuckle guard terminating with the head of a Yali, dished disc pommel with domed foliate terminal, contained in its leather wrapped wooden scabbard.
