GREAT BRITAIN - A MODEL 1859 NAVAL BOARDING AXE

11.75cm across the crescent-shaped face, stamped with an arrow over WD, 20.25cm from the face to the tip of the flat fluke, secured to its original haft by two rivets through the steel straps, the latter stamped W. GILPIN WEDGES MILL 1861, the haft affixed with a brass lozenge bearing the rack no. 30.
