A SCARCE 1882 PATTERN CAVALRY TROOPER'S SWORD

83cm curved fullered clean blade, sharpened for use, stamped 1/85 and with various Ordnance marks, crown over E over 12 to the back edge, regulation steel hilt pierced with a Maltese cross, chequered two-piece leather grips, in its Ordnance marked steel scabbard dated 1885 to match, buff leather knot.
